As the new school year approaches, 2020-2021, I think about all the exciting lessons and learnings to be had. I also wish we could be in our classroom, creating our 2nd grade classroom space together. I know you and I both wish for that, but right now, sadly, it is still not safe for anyone to be back in a classroom. The safest place for you is at home. The best thing we can do to fight Covid is to wear a mask anytime we leave our home, no matter who we are with. The other thing we can do is wash our hands often. I look forward to meeting you all, learning and growing together.
